It was loud in the hall. Lyrica saw so many colors. Just one ribbon flitting all over the place, changing colors every second. It flew over everybody's head, invisible to everyone but her. And millions of different tastes, some good, some... not so good. She was walking with her siblings: Xander, Dawn, and Iggy.
Xander was leading Iggy through the halls, a bit bored. So he was trying to find a math problem he couldn't solve.
5,874,629 to the power of three, divided by 7,083? No, that was easy....

Dawn, for the moment was cold, so she warmed up her body by a couple degrees. That was much better...
Iggy was holding onto the strap of her bag. She wondered what he was thinking about. maybe what he would paint next...
She looked back to see him, he was wearing his sunglasses, as normal, his straberry blond bangs barely scrapped the top of them.
Dawn couldn't help but notice how strange they all looked.

Most of the kids at school had already heard they were getting new students. They'd also heard about how the students were different. Somebody stuck their foot out for the blind guy to trip over.
Xander pulled Iggy away from the guy and then shot an angry glare at the guy who had tried to trip Iggy.
Lyrica also glared at the boy. There were some girls up ahead.
"Yuki, you looked so cute in that dress the other night!" One girl squealed happily.
Lyrica smiled. The name Yuki tasted nice. Almost like... strawberries. And the name looked pretty. The 'u' was a gray color, the 'i' was white, the 'Y' was a light purple, lavender color, and the 'k' was deep blue. She wondered if this Yuki person was a girl or a boy, just out of curiosity.

Iggy nearly tripped over himself when he got pulled out of the way by Xander.
Dawn shot a glare at the boy.
"That wasn't very nice..." She said to him.
"Yeah, but Yuki didn't enjoy being in a dress..." Came a beautiful voice. It was the voice of Ember Cullen.

"So, Yuki-kun was soooo cute!" Another voice replied to Ember.
There was that name again. So pretty... That name is so pretty. Lyrica thought.
A purple-headed boy managed to break through the crowd of people (mainly girls) who were surrounding him. Ember was beside him.

Ember held Yuki's hand, the small girl looked up at him once and smiled.
Dawn looked at Yuki, he was quite handsome..
She felt Iggy's hand curl around her bag strap again.
"Iggy..." She leanded over to whisper to him. "There's a guy with purple-gray hair, next to a girl with bright red hair..." She continued to whisper the discription of the people. She didn't know if he could see the people or not. He had never said. And he only painted landscapes...

Lyrica said that name. "Yuki..." Oh, so pretty...
Yuki looked up from Ember's eyes, which is where he'd been looking as he walked with Ember.
"Eeh? Were you talking to me?" He asked, looking just a bit confused.
"Ah, no. Sorry. Your name... it's just so pretty. And it tastes nice, too," Lyrica replied.
"O-Okay..." Yuki said, looking more confused now.
Xander laughed quietly. It was always fun when they ran into normal people and Lyrica said stuff like that.
Boy was he off about the 'normal' part.

Ember was somewhat used to hearing wierd things like that. But saying someone name tastes nice...
"Hello, I'm Ember Cullen." Ember said, bowing formally. Her voice, like the rest of her sibblings, was like windchimes even to human ears.
There were a few glares directed towards Ember.

"Hello, Ember. Why are people glaring at you...?" Lyrica asked, obviously being her curious self.
Xander was still trying to find a complicated math equation he couldn't solve. No luck...
((Edward should hear Xander's thoughts and actually get a bit confuzled by them. XDDDDDDDDDDD))

Ember sighed. "They have a problem with me..." She said.
Edward heard Xander solving the complicated math problems in his head. Edward's eyebrows furrowed together as he tried to make sense of them...

"I guess youcould say that...but my sibbling are much more special then I am." She said to her.
"Take Jasper, for example. He feels the emotions of others. That's why he looks like he's in pain...someone else is alway in pain, and he feels that." She said so no one else would hear. She pointed at Jasper.
She couldn't believe that she was divuldging this much information about their faimly...

Lyrica smiled. "Really? I can see and taste the sounds I hear. Xander's basically a human calculater, Iggy was born without eyes, but he paints amazing pictures, and Dawn can heat up her body temperature so she can survive in some of the coldest places," She said, pointing to each person as she said their 'power'.
"That would explain why she's saying things like, 'your name tastes good,' or 'The 'E's' are red'." Xander said, then chuckled. They really didn't mind if their powers were discovered. They were already kind of well-known with scientists. That's actually why they were in Japan. Some scientists wanted to know about the powers. They weren't going to conduct painful experiences or anything, they just wanted to learn so they could help the human race in the future.

"Edward can read minds...and Alice sees the future." Ember said. "I know things about others. Like your ability. I sensed that. And you age. Things like that." Ember offered a smile.
"But...not many people know about us...do you mind not telling anyone?" She asked quietly.

She turned to Iggy, who was probably wondering who was talking to them. "Ig, the purple-haired boy and the red-haired girl are talking to us, just so you know," She explained to him.
Yuki was silently wondering how this family would react if he said he could turn into a rat...
