Temprence walked down the halls. She didn't have her uniform yet, so the principal said that she could wear her normal clothes for today. So she was wearing her jeans, and a brown vintage Rolling Stones tee and, of course, her brown leather boots. Everything about her screamed 'Country Gal'.
She looked at her first class, then walked confidently in.
Her thick, brown-red hair flowed behind her and her gray eyes scanned the room.
The first person her eyes fell on was a blonde haired boy. The short girl smiled.
This was Tempy.

There was a free seat open next to Momiji. He smiled at the girl when she looked at him. She was so pretty. He grinned a huge, childish grin at her. He patted the desk next to him, inviting her to sit there.

"Hi, I'm Momiji Sohma," Momiji said. He had snow still in his hair from being outside. It had snowed again today. "What's your name?"

"Temprence O'Neall." She said, her hair also had snow in it. "I moved here from America." She said.

"Ooh!" Momiji said. "I guess you learned Japanese?" He laughed. "So, what's America like?" He asked, genuinely interested.

"Me too!" Momiji said.
Yuki was in the same class as Momiji. The teacher was just walking in. Yuki turned to Momiji. He sent a very polite smile to Temperence. He'd introduce himself later. This teacher was strict.
"Momiji, shhh. Let's not get you in trouble. Try not to be too loud, okay?"
"Okay, Yuki-kun." Momiji said, quieter now.

~Skip to the end of the day~
Momiji found Temperance easily. He was walking with Tohru, Yuki and Kyo. Yuki had said that Temperance and Momiji could come over.
"Temperance, we're going to Yuki-kun's house! Are you ready?" Momiji asked with excitement.

Yuki took the chance now to introduce himself. He had felt rude for not introducing himself earlier. "I'm Yuki Sohma. Momiji's cousin. And this is Kyo Sohma, another of our cousins." He gestured to Kyo.
"And this is Tohru Honda," He gestured to Tohru.

"I'm Temprence O'Neall. I't nice to meet you." She said polietly.
Another boy, not much taller then Temprence with dark, thick blonde hair, fair skin and bright blue eyes walked out of the building. They actually looked alot alike, besides the hair color. They both had long torso's and leg with fair skin and thick hair. He had a blank expression on his face and a black jacket and jeans. This was Temprence's brother.
"Hey, tell mom I'm going home with some friends."
"Why?" He asked. His voice was monotone.
"...because I can."
"Sure."
"Okay."
"Fine"
The sibblings stared at each other for a moment then he turned around and walked back to their new home.
"That was my brother." She explained quickly.
