Nadia just shook her head at him, as if he didn't have to say anything.
Aurora entered her house with them. It seemed her parents were out at the moment. Good, that helped. She left Nadia and Maliki down in the Main Room, while she ran up the stairs to get Nadia some clothes.
"Part of me thinks I'm dreaming..." Nadia commented in a flat voice, as if she wasn't all there, but spacing out or something.

Maliki looked back down at her. "I really wish you were." He stated quietly. The shifter felt somewhat responsible, if he had made it to that area just a few minutes earlier he could have saved Aidan and Nadia from being a werewolf. He pulled her slightly closer and put his other arm around her as well.

Nadia leaned against him, and stared up at him. She embraced him, burying her head into his chest--she barely reached that far. He was wayyy too tall.
"You're all I have left," she mumbled into his shirt.
Aurora came down a couple minutes later. It had taken some time to find some clothes that would be able to fit the small twelve-year-old. She slowly approached the two.
"Here, Nadia," she said, handing the girl the clothes. She nodded, went to a different room, and changed. Then she came back. She was thankful to be in some clothes... as opposed to covered by a shirt.

Maliki's face showed he felt sad, though it wouldn't be hard for anyone to notice he was sad. He wrapped his arms around her and set his chin on her head for a moment. The shifter let go once she got the clothes though. He looked back at her as she came in. Walking back over to her he just looked down at her for a moment.
"I love you." He murmured. Maliki swallowed and blinked. "I'm not all you have though... The Sohma's will understand. They're accepting." His voice was still low as he spoke; looking at her.

"Y-yeah, but..." Nadia chewed her lip. In many ways, she didn't always feel very close to them. Of course she loved them. But... they just weren't related to her. She'd only known them for a while. And even though she knew Maliki only a little longer than the Sohmas, she felt a connection with him. Unlike how she felt with the Sohmas. That was different. Even though she was very close to her foster family, she just didn't feel the same connections she'd felt with her sister, and Maliki, and her mother and Joel.
She dismissed the two words she'd just said, sighed, and mumbled, "I love you too." She leaned against him, comfortable with depending on him.

Maliki nodded slightly and put his arms around her. He ran a hand through her hair and sighed. The shifter leaned down slightly and kissed her head again. "I'll be here." He murmured simply. They needed to go somewhere else. Possibly... He wanted to be alone with her for a little while. But first, they would have to get through whatever else.
"What else do we need to do?" He asked then glanced back at Aura.

Aurora shrugged. "Not much. She can meet the others later," she said simply. "So, uh, why don't you just show her around or whatever you wanna do?" She suggested.
Nadia liked that idea. She looked at Maliki to see if that was okay. There was also a thankful look to her features, for what he'd said to her.

Maliki nodded slightly. "That works." He said then looked back down at her. "Lets go walk around then." He gave her a slight smile. "Thanks, Aura." The shifter added looking back at the other shifter.

Aurora nodded. "Not a problem." She headed back up the stairs. Nadia opened the door and went outside.
"I feel different now that I'm a... a werewolf," she mumbled. She knew that she wasn't like a werewolf like Maliki. They were different. But she was plenty comfortable with being with him. Her wolf didn't seem to mind being around Maliki.

Maliki nodded slightly as he followed her. He looked back down at her. "Yeah, I can imagine. Probably not like when I first shifted but maybe similar..." The shifter said. He hesitated before putting an arm around her. "Come on." He murmured. She had been to the reserve before. So she knew it for the most part.
"You want to stay here tonight and go home tomorrow to talk things over...?" He asked glancing back down at her. Maliki hadn't really had to deal with death before. Since he was mostly alone. Now that he came to the reserve there were a few deaths around. But no one he knew well. Now here Nadia was, having to deal with the death of her last family member that cared for her.
Life sucks.

Nadia nodded wordlessly. She liked the feel of his arm around her shoulders. It was comforting. She sighed.
"So... what are we doing right now?" She asked. She didn't really want to talk to anybody but him, or see anybody but him.

Maliki shrugged. "Whatever you want." He said simply. The shifter looked back down at her. He was fine with just being with her at the moment. They could go back to the house he was staying at. The people around the reserve were nice enough to give him a good place to stay. Technically he was seventeen, though, in a way, he was still fourteen due to being a shifter.

Nadia shrugged. She had no idea what she wanted to do.
"Will you pick whatever we do? 'Cause I dunno," she said.
Just an hour, maybe less, ago, she'd been talking with Aidan about what they should do together.

"I don't know..." Maliki said trailing off. "We can just walk, or go back to my house." He suggested a bit weakly. The shifter didn't know what to do. He was a bit surprised she was holding up so well after what happened.

Maliki nodded slightly. "Alright." He said walking with her. The shifter looked down at the ground letting his arm slide down slightly to have his hand set on her arm. "Are you alright?" He asked looking back at her as he asked. It was a question that meant more then just her physical being.

Nadia shook her head. "I-I dunno," she mumbled. She crossed her arms just under her chest, laying her head against him, grateful to (both figuratively and literally) have him to lean on.
She really had no idea whether or not she was all right.

Maliki stopped for a moment and turned to her. He wrapped his arms around her, setting his chin over her head. "Things will work out sooner or later." The shifter murmured.
((If you don't have anymore I suppose we could end here. XD I have an idea for Raven and Keiji thread... Keiji could get aggravated with himself about the incident and Raven goes and finds, it's vague. Just a thread where they talk, I don't know if he would consider himself a monster after that or not, if so she can convince him otherwise. She can say she loves him, and convince him that way. *is recalling the way Myra convinces Kiyoshi he isn't a monster* xD))
