Lollipop? (Blue)

"Want a lollipop, Torao?" The boy with the blonde, curly hair asked his cousin, who was, in truth, a few months younger than him, which would shock anybody, considering Momiji looked so much younger and acted so much more immature than Torao.

"No, Momiji, for the hundredth time. Why'd you come to hang out with me again?" Torao wasn't exactly mad at Momiji, it was just that things had been irritating him today. Well, at least Akito wasn't around right now. It was great that she'd so unexpectedly left on that trip. Though his Zodiac spirit was suffering terribly from his 'god's' absence.

"I was bored, and Ha'ri is too busy with his new kids," Momiji replied.

"Of course. Anyway, I'm not hungry. I don't want any sweets."

"You need to relax. The reason you're ticked off is 'cause you're tense. We should've brought Haru along."

Torao sighed and tried the silent treatment.

"And so I meet the famous Momij!" Aime said loudly from behind them. "An honor, good sir." she laughed, bowing deeply and then straightening up. "Hi!" she said brightly to Taoro.

Momiji looked up. "Oh! Torao, is that the cute girl you were texting? She's pretty!" He said. He greeted her with a kiss on the cheek. Torao grimaced.
"Momiji," he warned.

"Calm down, Torao!" Momiji said lightly, in his high-pitched, still-childish voice. He really did only look like a kid. Molten chocolate eyes looked into Aime's. Very solemnly, he asked, "Do you like Torao?"

Torao felt himself go just a little red. "Momiji, I think it's time you shut up."

"Awwwww," he whined like a little kid. "Toraooooooooo, you're no fun!"

Aime smiled brightly. Then she leaned over closer to Momiji. "Yup." she said innocently, then looked very seriously at Toaro. "Me and Momiji have a secret, and you aren't allowed to know." she informed him as-a-matter-of-factly. She looked over her shoulder at him and winked. "Ane thanks for the compliment."

Torao sighed, but smiled slightly. "Okay, fine."

"You're welcome!" Momiji chirped. Then he took a lollipop out of his seemingly bottomless pockets. "Want one? Torao won't have any." He shook his head a bit to get his blonde curls out of his big eyes. Nobody would guess that this cheerful boy had had a fairly depressing past.

"You just love candy, don't you?"

"Yep!"

Aime laughed lightly. "Thank you, but I just ate." she said kindly, then focoused on Torao.

"So, what have you been up to, candy-hater?" she teased, raising her eyebrows at him.

"Not much. Things are just getting suffocating at home and Momiji decided to tag along when I really just wanted to be alone for a while. Now he's pestering me to lighten up. I can see why Hatori didn't want him around today. Would've woken up a couple of babies," Torao stated.

"Ha'ri's the family doctor and one of our cousins," Momiji said. "He got married and has a step-daughter and twins! It's so exciting!"

Aime nodded. "Sweet." she commented.

[Akkii]

Torao smirked. "Hm, maybe I'll take Momiji's advice and lighten up."

"YAY!" Momiji cheered. "Hm, we should all go do something! Why don't we take Aime back to the Main House. It's not like we'd get in any trouble."

Torao looked doubtful, but glanced to Aime to see if she would want to.

"Oh! Oh! Or maybe we could go see Tohru! And Yuki and Shigure and Kyo!" Momiji added.

Torao didn't look as concerned with that idea. "You mentioned that you've met Yuki, haven't you?"

((She can choose either. Or she can decide not to do either at all. XD =shrugs=))

"Sounds good to me!" Aime smiled, and with an "I'm teasing you" glance, she hooked arms with Momiji and started skipping. She laughed loudly, her blonde ponytail swinging with her. "And I did meet Yuki once. He's nice."

"YAY!" Momiji squealed. "I'm gonna see Tohru!" He exclaimed as he skipped with Aime.

Torao laughed at the two, but gave Momiji a warning glance when he thought Aime wasn't looking. The last thing he needed was for Momiji to fall on Aime and turn into a rabbit.
"Let's go," he said, smiling more widely now.

After a few minutes, Aime slowed and fell into step with Torao. "So how have you been?" she asked non-chalantly. Might as well start with that.

"I've been fine. Things have been pretty boring," Torao replied with a smile.

Momiji skipped ahead, literally quick as a bunny, leading them toward the forest.

"Yeah, same here. I just came out this way because I was got too tired sitting on the couch. Isn't that sad?" Aime said, chuckling at the end. She moved a tiny bit closer, so their shoulders were just barley touching. It didn't show, but her mind was working furiously. She COULD just reach out and grab his hand. But would that be to sudden? A bit much? Aime's blue eyes wandered for a second, deep in thought, but she was quickly returned to reality.

Should he? No... yes... no... yes? Her hand was right there... and he did like her. But... was it a good idea to get close to somebody? No. Akito would get mad when h-/she/ got back, that is, if she found out...

But he couldn't risk Aime. She could be hurt.

Then he decided, why not? Just take her hand. Not that hard. He was just about to take hold of it when a certain blonde boy turned on his heel and dashed back toward them. He took Aime's hand, energetic. "Let's walk together, Aime-chan!!"

Torao did an action that some would call a 'face-palm,' out of irritation, and sighed to himself. He cursed under his breath.

Aime frowned for a secnod, but before Momiji could see it, she turned happier. She stayed with him, but glanced back desperatley at Torao. She mouthed 'oh well' at him, and went back to laughing and squeaking with the girly-boy.

Torao laughed a little.

After a while, they got to Shigure's house. Momiji flung the door open cheerily.

"Hi Kyo!" Momiji sang.

"What the he** are you doing here?" Kyo asked in surprise. "Who's that?" He glanced at Aime.

Yuki entered the room.

"Idiot. You should be more polite to guests. Even if two of them are your cousins." Then he looked over at the girl, recognizing her. "Ah, nice to see you again, Aime-san."

"Shut up, prettyboy!" Kyo snapped at Yuki, who simply ignored him.

"WAAAAH! You're so mean, Kyo!"

"Calm down," Torao said to the whining Momiji.

Aime's head spun with the madness of it all. "Hello, Yuki! How have you been?" she adressed the only person she reconized, before puting her hand over Momiji's mouth to shut him up.

Momiji took her hand and sort of gently pushed it away from his mouth. "Sorry, I'm annoying you, huh?" He asked, calming down a little, now.

Yuki smiled at Aime. "I've been fine."

Hearing all the noise, a short brunette entered the room.

"Tohru!" Momiji gasped rushing forward as if he were running to embrace the girl.

Kyo grabbed him from the back of the shirt before he could hug Tohru.

"Watch what you're doing!" He snapped at the boy.

"Awwwwwww... Kyo, you're mean. I still think you hug Tohru all the time."

"Oh... ah... um..." the brunette, Tohru, stammered. "Ah, hello Momiji-san, Torao-san. Oh, and..." she turned to Aime. She tilted her head to the side, not recognizing the girl.

"This is Aime," Torao told her.

"Ah!" Tohru bowed deeply to be polite. "Very nice to meet you, Aime-san! I'm Tohru Honda!"

"Uh, hi." Aijme bowed unsteadily, then straighteed up and moved back to stand beside Torao, hoping Momiji had forgotten about her. She glanced around. "Who's the agressive one?" she whispered to him.
