Jack nodded. "The doctor, right...?" He asked. Weddings for wealthy families were often announced in the paper, even when those getting married would prefer that something like that didn't happen. He didn't read the paper much, but upon glancing he was sure he'd seen an announcement for Hatori's and Kira's wedding... But he wasn't sure.
"I've never really met him. But when I met the family head, I thought she'd die on the spot," he stated, recalling how sick she'd seemed. But she was still alive... And from what he heard from his father, she was a newborn vampire now. Newborns were almost as dangerous as Silver Bloods. It's not that they were bad, like actual Silver Bloods (as opposed to those who were turned into the SBs), but newborns sometimes confused Blue Bloods for humans, and that was a problem. Because a Blue Blood being fully drained meant no return for them.

((Ooooh, wouldn't it be interesting if their were humans that hunted Blue Bloods to drain them and sell their blood? Saying their blood gives strength and such to the user? XD Yes, it's an idea from TrueBlood... 'Cause that's what some humans do to the vamps on there. LoL.))
"Yeah, he's a doctor." And now a vampire, last time she had heard at least. But best not mention that right now, to him who she wasn't even sure was a human or vampire, or what he was at least...
"I haven't met Akito though. So I wouldn't know of her health." She added.

Jack nodded. He grabbed a piece of calamari and ate it. Even though he didn't need to eat human food, it still tasted good.

Snorri took a stuffed mushroom and took a bite. Thinking for a moment she figured she'd ask. Or mention what she imagined.
"You know, either I'm crazy or your not human." She stated in a slightly lowered tone. Just so no one would notice what she had said. "Because I got an image that wasn't mine while dancing with you." She stated.
((Blah...... Careful Snorri, it's a very likely possibility that you are crazy. XDDD))

Snorri wondered what exactly the whole cussing thing was about. "But I'm not all human either. Just part vampire though... Like, ah, pretty much all my blood related family." She explained half trailing off.
"So... What are you?" So long as he wasn't Fae... Why she didn't quite trust them? Because they just seemed untrustworthy.

"Vampire. Different than the kind that you are, though," Jack replied. He wasn't going to stop now. And apparently she wasn't completely Red Blood. Maybe he could find a loophole in the Code later. "Ever hear of Blue Bloods?"

((Yeah. I didn't. It doesn't even tell us EVERYTHING in the code. Just things that happen. Bleh. xD I've never been good at explaining stuff.))
Jack smirked. "Yes," he stated. "Blue blood. Hence the name."
The waiter came with the food and set it down. "Would you like more sake, sir?"
"Please," Jack said. The man nodded, filled up the glass, and left.
He smirked as he cut into his food. There was plenty of blood on the plate. He wondered what Snorri would think of how he'd practically ordered it raw. He started cutting the steak, and put a bite in his mouth.
(('Nother thing I forgot to mention. They have fangs that are retractable. They're in the wisdom tooth area. XD))

Snorri didn't really think about the bloody steak. The other vampires drank animal blood, and humans. Except their victims were normally drained.
"Humans blood is blue till it meets the air though." She stated thoughtfully. Blue blood, in and out. Weird. Though who knew with all those creatures out their. Maybe some types of Fae had green or silver blood.

((According to the book, Red Bloods got the term Wisdom teeth from Blue Bloods. That's what Blue Bloods call their fangs. xDDD wisdom teeth. LoL Heheh...))
Jack nodded. "Yeah, I knew that." He smiled at her. Most people wouldn't find the texture of this steak appetizing. It was chewy and weird. Jack elongated his fangs just slightly, but not enough to be visible while he spoke. He took another bite of steak. Because of the fangs, this one was easier to chew.

Snorri realized how she seemed to keep forgetting to eat... So she nodded slightly and took a bite of her own food. It was good. Of course, it was no rare steak. (LoL)
"Do you have fangs?" She asked a little randomly. Because the vampires she knew of didn't really have them. Their teeth were just slightly sharper for biting into flesh without to much initial discomfort. It's the venom that gets you afterward.
((I keep forgetting that they are supposed to be eating. XD And the TrueBlood vamps also retract their fangs. XDDD So, does a human have to be drained, then drink the blood of the vampire before they are change for our BB's and SB's?))

Jack smirked at the question. After he'd swallowed the piece of meat, he opened his mouth a bit, and made his fangs even longer for a couple of seconds. Then he shortened them again. Nobody had noticed.
"That answer your question?" He asked.
((Hmmm... Nah.
Oh, but if a BB is turned by an SB, then human blood becomes poisonous to them and they have to feed off another BB. xDDD That doesn't answer your question, but might help.))

"Yes, I believe it does." Snorri replied quite calm for having just seen a vampires fangs. She didn't get worked up over things like that. At least things that were supposed to be scary... The girl didn't scare or get squeamish easily.
((Okay... XD And bleh, I tried... What shall happen next anyway? They leave and meet up with Mimi, or something? XD))

Jack smiled lightly and took a bite. He pushed the plate back, not asking about the vampire part.

Jack signaled for the check, paid, then headed out of the restaurant with Snorri. She was certainly a pretty girl. He didn't want to admit to himself that he liked her, though.
"So, did you like dinner?" He asked.

Jack quietly walked with her. Mimi came into view suddenly, and she headed right for them.
"Jack," Mimi called, before getting all the way there.
"Oh, hello Mimi," Jack said pleasantly, wrapping an arm around her shoulders.
"Where were you after the dance?"
"Oh, I just took this girl out to dinner, sorry for not letting you know. Did you wait for me at the dance or something?" He haven't even said Snorri's name. He didn't make indication that she was with him now, despite the fact his date was right beside him.
"I did," Mimi replied. "I finally went home and Dad was wondering where you were, so then I had to come looking for you." She looked past the two at the restaurant they'd been at.
"Ew, why'd you eat at that tacky place?" She asked. Obviously, she thought four star restaurants and lower were no good.

Snorri tilted her head slightly. They were close though. She didn't really think much about basically being ignored though. It didn't really bother her.
