"Kyo..." Shade said finally, her first words. She looked up at the ginger haired boy.
"... I want to die."

Kyo's eyes widened, and his stare was even more intense than before.
Tadao and Hatori looked equally shocked.
"You what?" Kyo asked. "Why would you want that, Shade?"

Shade was silent again. It was the only words that she has spoken and they had been, 'I want to die'.
Kira was motified.
"... What?" She asked softly to her daughter.
"... I want to die."

Kyo got a little closer to her. "Why?" he urged.
Tadao was frowning, his brow furrowed in confusion and his expression sorrowful. "Shade, why would you want to die?" he asked her quietly.
Hatori just watched in concern.

Shade drew herself into a tighter ball, afraid by the sudden movements. Her pupils shrank and her breathing became a bit harder, like that of a frightened animal.
Kira felt like a monster. She had brought her daughter back, only for her to want to die.
That's what you get for playing God, Kira. said a dry voice in the back of her head. Kira became upset because she knew that the voice was right.

Hatori could tell Kira was feeling rather distressed, and so he pulled her close, wrapping a strong arm around her waist, hoping to reassure her a little. He couldn't say he felt she'd done the right thing, but she had indeed done it for the right reasons, even if she may have ended up being wrong about this. He sighed quietly.
"Hey. Shade, it's all right. Nobody's gonna hurt you," Kyo said quietly, calmly. "We're all here 'cause we wanna see you. Don't be scared, okay?" He didn't know whether she'd listen or not. But he was proud of himself for remaining relatively calm.
Tadao was shuffling closer. Slowly, of course, in a way that he prayed wouldn't scare her. He was watching her as intently as Kyo was, meeting her eyes with his blue ones that were so much like the way his brother's used to be.

Shade's eyes didn't hold Tadao's for long, and her green orbs darted to the ground. Too many people. Too many voices. Too close.
She glared at Kyo, a warning. The looks on her face could be compaired that to a wild injured animal that had been backed into a corner, and those were the most dangerous kinds.
Kira had her head rested on the tall man's chest, but tensed up when Shade glared. She gripped Hatori's hard arm with one hand and kept her pale green eyes trained on Shade, incase she might to anything and Kira would be needed to subdue her without hurting her. It wasn't that she didn't think that Kyo and Tadao couldn't handle here. In fact, Kira figured Kyo and Tadao were probably better off then her, but she wanted to protect her daughter.

Kyo and Tadao both took a step back. Last thing either of the men wanted was to have to wrestle against the frail-looking girl.
Hatori held Kira just a little tighter, not saying anything to his wife.

Shade continued to glare, producing a frightening effect.
"I think you two should come back..." Kira said nervously. She didn't want the two getting hurt, or hurting Shade. She was worried for them all.

Kyo sighed. Tadao did as he was told and walked over, reluctantly. Kyo followed suit, walking slowly after the older boy to Kira and Hatori.

Shade rocked herself a bit, and averted her eyes.
Kira sighed and hid her face.
"I don't know what I did wrong..." She said, it almost came out a whimper. "I just wanted her back..."

"I know, Kira, I know. You had plenty of good intentions. It'll be okay," Hatori told her, trying to comfort. The last part... he wasn't sure if it would be, but he definitely didn't like it when she was upset.
