"And that would be...?" Jade questioned, looking at him expectantly.
Brittney came from where she was sitting to sit with Jade. Jade wrapped an arm around her friend's shoulders and let the girl lean on her.

Azriel glanced over at her for a moment then away again. "Leave for a while. Newborns have bad control." His control was that of one not much older then a newborn. That was what happened when you had years with the Vultori... Devon wasn't like that. Devon was like freaking perfection though, Azriel, was the oppisote.
"Things are different though from when I was a newborn. You'll have help. Er... The Cullen's, and me, though I don't know if I can do much." When he had said 'leave' he was thinking of how he should have left right after he had shifted. At least after he had realized what he was.

Brittney chewed on her lip. "But what about our families?" She asked, thinking of her youngest sister, and all of her cousins.
Jade was worried too. She'd miss her family. Not so much school. Brittney was the only friend she really talked to at school. The rest of her really good friends didn't attend the school she and Brittney did.

"I'm thinking about them when I say you need to get out of the area." Azriel replied voice low; just because he was trying to stay calm himself. He was normally patient, but he was going through memories of what he had done. Sighing he looked down at the floor and closed his eyes.

Jade's eyes widened at the thought of having to leave her family.
Britthey looked terrified at the concept. Jade felt her friend start shaking, as if she were crying.
Jade had seen her friend like this, but for different reasons. Either way, she knew the best way to deal with it was just embrace Brittney and be quiet for the most part... just give her a shoulder to cry on. Brittney was Jade's shoulder to cry on, too. But somehow, she was able to hold back the want to sob at the thought of not getting to see her family.
"O-Okay," Jade said to Azriel.

D***it! This was all his fault. If he could only have controlled himself then Jade and her friend could have just gone to the hospital. They would have had some scars, visible to human eyes, but they would have been alive and able to see their families. Now they were like him. No... Not like him. They had never killed. And they wouldn't, because they would have people helping them.
That didn't matter though. He had still changed them. Into these cold killing creatures. Vampires. Bloodsuckers, leaches, demons... No matter what anyone said that's what they were. They were cursed to live forever as these creatures of the night, those who suck the blood of the humans they once were.
"I'm sorry. I'll go tell the others your awake as well." Though they had probably already heard. He just needed a reason to get out of the room. Azriel stood and walked out of the room. He stood for a moment outside of the room after the door had shut. The older vampire hung his head; angry, aggravated, just mad at himself in general. Surely when he was killed he would go to h*ll. There was no room for a monster, a killer, in heaven. There was no way to make amends for all his killing.
((Jade can come out or something. XD))

Once Brittney was calmed down, and Jade as well--she'd started 'crying' (minus the tears) silently after Azriel had exited the room--Jade stood up. "I-I'll be right back, 'kay Britt?" She asked quietly.
Brittney nodded, letting go of her friend. Jade felt bad for her. Brittney had so many more family members and friends than she did. Brittney would be losing more than she was. And she knew she should have been angry at Azriel, but she couldn't bring herself to get mad. She walked across the room and through the door to her boyfriend.
"...Hey..." she said to him.
((Neh, should I have a power? XD Brittney's power would be something like paralyzing or something... since she's already capable of doing that. XDDD))

((XDDD I don't care. LoL.))
Azriel glanced back at her, then away once more. He was starting to wish Alice would have let him leave. He could have left and went back to the Vultori, and taken himself out of this world. There was no use for someone that could only take lives. And ruin them.
"Your mad at me?" He asked a little hesitantly. "I mean, I understand perfectly if you are..." The vampire added looking off to the side.

Jade vigorously shook her head. "Not at all. I know I should be, but honestly, I'm not," she said truthfully. "Britt's still trying to get over the shock of it all. She'll probably get mad, but she's a forgiving person," she said.

Azriel swallowed. He blinked and looked back at her. "Then be angry." The vampire stated. His eyes were strange. They were blank, that wasn't too unusual, but the way they were now could be considered frightening.
"You're not mad though? Why not?" He had been angry with his creator. Furious with the woman. Why wasn't she angry? She should be angry. Since she wouldn't be able to see her family again because of him. So she should be angry at him. It was almost frustrating that she was yelling at him, she was practically forgiving him without him having to do anything. He looked away again.
"Why let it go?"

Jade sighed. "I don't know why I'm not mad at you. I guess... I just don't want to be angry at my boyfriend, I guess." She gently took his hand. "But... really, I'm not mad at you."

Azriel glanced back a her, his gaze lingering for longer then it had since she had changed to a vampire; completely changed. He wondered how on this earth he could have found someone understanding enough to forgive him these things. That didn't matter though... There were still problems. He could have saved his sister, if he had stayed awake, he could have saved Jade and her friends their trouble today if only he had refused the vampires offer. His mother could have lived her life, as he could have lived out his as meant. Vampires were an affront to nature. That was such a scary realization. He wasn't a creature that should be on earth. Someone that was supposed to be dead.
"I didn't kill my sister though." He stated, since he had never made it clear. Swallowing unnecessarily he stared at the ground. "I was supposed to dig down and not get out of the grave. But I could think clearly, and I turned... See, back then people were half aware of creatures like vampires, werewolves, and such. I imagine it was my mother that refused to burn me like they usually do with suspected vampires that were still changing." Explaining it in a low voice, it actually was both good and bad to be telling her. Bad because she might find him, though he didn't think she would, a monster. Good because he hadn't actually told anyone about it.
"It was my mother, that was killed by me as a newborn. Then I killed people from my village... I only gained control enough after a month or so." He added quietly. "I really, do not, deserve your forgiveness, or anyone's for that matter." The vampire stated looking back at her. Hating his red eyes, though they had once been gold, before that he couldn't remember.

Jade only nodded, not knowing what to say. She did the same that felt most natural to her. She pulled him into an embrace.
"I don't care if you don't deserve it, okay?" She said. "I don't care if you've killed people... even if one of them was your mother. You didn't want to. And now, if you were to go back in time, you would have changed your actions. I... I guess that's all that matters," she said quietly. "I mean, when you really think about it, that's all that matters. It's like... confession. When we go to confession, no matter how badly we've sinned, God forgives us so long as we're sorry for what we've done. Even if we don't deserve it."
She grimaced. "It's like I'm giving a sermon like the priest at Church. Oops." She smiled, and let out a nervous laugh.

Azriel was slightly surprised when she hugged him. But he did the same. In a way, her acceptance helped.
"I am sorry... About biting you and your friend." He mumbled glancing off to the side. "Though I'm not sure how even God forgives someone who has killed so many." He stated.

"You'd be surprised," Jade mumbled. "C'mon, Britt's probably getting lonely in there." She remembered reading her friend's journal, and remembered when all that crap had happened to the girl in Middle School. It had just been one thing after another, and Jade's friend had been writing about how worthless she felt. But after they'd grown closer, Brittney had been writing about how Jade and her other friends had helped her. How would Brittney feel now?

Azriel pulled back slightly and nodded; looking back at the floor. "Yeah..." He said trailing off. The vampire turned back to the door and opened it standing to the side so that Jade could go in first.
"I don't think I've exactly kept my religion over the three hundred some odd years though." He stated.

Jade stepped in slowly. "You can always still be that religion now," she said quietly, before really entering the room, going to sit beside her best friend.
"Hey..." she murmured to her friend. Brittney nodded back, leaning against Jade once again. Jade put an arm around Brittney's shoulders.
"So... what now?" Brittney asked, still too shocked, scared and sad to feel angry.

Azriel leaned against the door frame with his shoulder; looking in. "I don't know. You two are probably hungry." He stated realizing he probably shoulder have mentioned taking them hunting earlier. "So I guess I take you hunting." He mumbled.

"Hunting? You mean, like..." Brittney trailed off, eyes growing huge, as if scared.
"Animals," Jade said quickly, watching the relief on her friend's face.
"What kinds of animals?"
"Um..." Jade looked over at Azriel. She didn't really know what kinds of animals he hunted.

Azriel hadn't really thought he would need to explain the whole fact that he normally, since joining the Cullen's at least, didn't hunt humans. As in, he thought she would have assumed that. So he was glad Jade explained that.
"Deer, mostly. We normally try to hunt where there is an abundance of that animal. So that we don't 'harm the environment'." He had to resist rolling his eyes here. The vampire was okay with the whole, abstaining from drinking human blood, but when Carlisle explained that they wanted to keep the environment safe as well. Really he figured he was doing it a favor, so to speak, by not hunting humans. Then again, there was an abundance of humans...
Not good to think about that! He blinked and glanced off to the side. "Normally when your hungry your throat will burn..." The vampire added trailing off.
