Emeric walked along the sidewalk looking down slightly. Thinking. Wondering if he was doing the right thing, if it would work out, or if he would get rejection. Which he could deal with. It wouldn't be too hard to get over... Take a few years, not that that would matter. Since time wasn't very important to those who are immortal. Like Fae.
He came upon her house. Takara's. The person he loved most.
The Fae paused at the door one hand in his pocket as he fingered the little soft black box. Then he knocked on the door and allowed his arm to drop to his side. He smiled slightly as he thought for a moment while he waited. Oddly enough, he wasn't nervous. Just... Excited.
The ring he had gotten was silver with white diamonds. The band twisted around to where the diamonds met just before the center ending with a slight twirl up. It was a beautiful ring, one he found would be a good engagement ring. He let out a sigh and smiled. With his Fae powers he could tell Takara was home. It seemed her other part of the family that lived here was not. In a way, that relaxed him a bit.
((I had issues lengthening it like you did with Flawed Lapis... XD I think it work though. XD And... A sucky title. xP))

Takara camed to the door. She had been doing some cleaning today, and some rearanging although the heavy lifting probably wasn't good for her knee.
She wipped sweat off of her brow before answering the door. She grinned at the fae.
"Hi Emeric." She said, opening the door wider. "The house is a mess right now, I've been rearanging things." She explained to him as she pushed a box of old photos to the side with her good leg.

"That's fine." Emeric said smiling and stepping into the house. "Need any help?" He asked tilting his head slightly. The Fae would ask the question in a moment... Just not yet. He wanted to make sure there was good timing so to speak.

Takara grinned at him. "Only if you want to. I was planning on taking a break soon anyways. My knee was starting to hurt." She said. As she reminded herself of her aching knee she wandered into the kitchen and took some tylenol. She came back in quickly.

"Okay. Then I'll join you for your break?" Emeric half said, half asked. He smiled slightly as he thought about what he needed to ask. The Fae glanced off to the side then leaned down slightly giving her a kiss when she came back in.
"Yeah, don't want hurt yourself." He added.
((Hm... Am still thinking of how exactly to make him propose... XD))

Takara nodded and blushed slightly at the kiss. The girl sat down, resting her sore leg.
"So what made you drop by so suddenly?" She asked, then amended, "I mean, it's not that I don't enjoy you just dropping by. I a-actually really liked it..." She continued to studder and blush until she shut herself up.

Emeric smiled slightly. "That's fine. I'll tell you..." He said trailing off. The Fae thought for a moment then, as culture dictates, got down on one knee. Slipping the rings box out of his pocket and opening he held it out to her. "I needed to ask you... If you would marry me?" He asked looking back up at her now.
((It just seems so corny... XDDD))

She smiled widly.
"Yes!" She exclaimed loudly without a further thought. "Yes, Emeric!"

Emeric grinned and stood up removing the ring from the box and setting the box back in his pocket. He then took her hand lightly and slid the ring onto her finger. The Fae grinned again looking at her. He sat down beside her and hugged her; still grinning.
"Wonderful." It wasn't hard to tell he was happy. He turned slightly looking at her, and leaned in kissing her on the cheek.

Emeric smiled slightly just holding his arms around her. "I love you too." He murmured. The Fae turned slightly to kiss her again. Smiling he asked, "So, you like the ring?" Chuckling a bit after he asked.

Emeric chuckled. He leaned forward slightly setting his pointer finger under her chin. "But it's true." He stated; smiling lightly almost a smirk.

"Ah... no, n-not really. I-I mean, Kira was always the prettier one. Th-that's what I've been told and heard an s-such..."" Takara rambled on for a moment.

Takara grinned, and the daringly said. "Later, right now I want you all to myself." It was a bold statement for Takara to make, but she was feeling like she could anything right now.
