Shade nodded once.
"Yeah." Shade commented absent-mindedly. She looked at her feet and wiggled her toes. "It's still early, but I really don't feel like going back to sleep..."

"I'm crashing when we get home," Tadao grumbled, leaning just slightly on Shade. He was leaning on her just to bug her, really. He was too tired to care about what had happened during the night.
Lee woke up suddenly, face blank. "...Wha...?" he mumbled.
Kyo just smirked again and continued to drive. He lived pretty far from everyone. It might take over an hour to get to where the family lived. He and Tohru had moved that far.

"Git offa me." Groaned Shade, pushing her body into Tadao, trying to push him so he wasn't leaning on her anymore. "You're too heavy."
She looked over at her son that had just woken up and ruffled the top of his head.

"I thought we were at K'o's house," Lee mumbled, leaving out the 'y' in Kyo.
"Ya were," Kyo said. "I'm driving you and your parents home because they're too tired," he told the boy.
Lee nodded. "Mom, what time's it?"
"Too. Early," Tadao grunted, answering for Shade, leaning on her despite the fact she was pushing him.

Shade pushed harder on Tadao and then gave Lee the real answer.
"Five thiry." She said, jabbing Tadao in the ribs with her index finger, but it was doubtful that could make him get up from off of her.

"Stooop," Tadao groaned.
"Wow, you practically sound drunk," Kyo pointed out.
"I'm not. Swear," the man told his younger cousin.
"I know. But really, you're as bad as Yuki."
"Nowhere near as bad as Yuki," Tadao argued. "I can get up early, just not this early."
"Whatever."
"Why is it so dark? It's morning, right?" He'd woken up this early before, of course. He just didn't get why it wasn't light in the morning. It was daytime, so it should be light... right?

"You're a goof, Tadao." Shade said, looking over at her boyfriend, who was still leaning on her. She pretty much gave up now and let the man that was almost twice her size lean oover on her.

"Someone answer my question!" Lee demanded, kicking his feet, which were colliding with the back of the seat Kyo sat in.
"Quit that," Kyo muttered, looking slightly over his shoulder, then back on the road. "It's dark 'cause..." He frowned. Ah, he'd make a joke out of it. " 'Cause the sun takes even longer to wake up than your parents."
Lee laughed. "The sun doesn't 'wake up,' Kyo!"
Kyo smirked. "You're right. I guess it doesn't."
