"What? Am I your possession or something?! Since when?! Did you decide you owned me when you found out you'd have to... to marry me? Well that didn't happen! You don't ****ing own me!" Akito roared, sort of losing her temper.
She sure hoped Mary wasn't nearby. The last thing she needed was her daughter overhearing this conversation.
Or any of the children for that matter...

"Shut up!" Kaiser yelled again. "You will speak when SPOKEN too!" He snapped at her. "You are my possession! I OWN you, Akito, I am GOD. I OWN you!" He said, grabbing her shoulders and shaking roughly.

Akito stiffened, and flinched. She remembered when she was like this, but couldn't bring herself to feel bad for him. He wasn't suffering from the pain of being torn apart by the bonds. Neither was she. That suffering seemed more like a far away memory, now.
"You aren't god anymore, Kaiser. You never were. You housed the spirit of the god. And it left you when you became a vampire." Her voice was strangely calm through the fear, which had returned again. She almost sounded sympathetic.
In a colder tone, she added, "You. Don't. Own. Me."

Akito felt angry for a second. No right to speak? Maybe this wasn't America, but she knew she had a right to speak.
But then she gave him a sad smile. She'd acted like that before, and she was showing him he couldn't quite control her. Just like Tohru had--though Tohru had been much kinder about it.
"It sucks, doesn't it? You're told something your entire life, then it proves to be false," she said simply.

Kaiser was livid now.
"Same goes for you, doesn't it?! The only reason you want imortailty I bet is so that you can forever be in control of the family. Mara or Mary wouild be the next ones in line... You are just like your Mother. Selfish." He snarled at her.

Akito glared.
"The reason I wanted immortality was to be with Devon!" She snapped at him. It really bothered her when she was told she was like her mother. "I'm nothing like her!" She wripped out of the grasp he had on her shoulders, arms stiff at her side.

((Bleh. Should she end up going with him again? Hmmm... I'm starting to think Devon should show up now, instead of having them kiss. But only if you want to. He's your character, after all. XD))

Kaiser snarled.
"Akito... ?" Came a different voice. Not as attractive as Kaiser's, but still as smooth as satin and with a slight accent but not so heavily coated that you couldn't understand a single word he said. It was a plesant voice to listen too, and since it's wasn't as flawless as Kaiser's it some how seemed more... real. More like a person you woulod want to talk to.
Devon stepped into view, blinking slightly at the sight of Akito and Kaiser.
"What are you doing here?" Devon snapped at Kaiser.
"Same for you, traitor."

Akito took a few steps backward, until she was standing near Devon.
"He's trying to get me to leave again," she told him. She was glad the man had shown up. And it hadn't looked bad this time, which was equally good. He hadn't walked up to them to find them kissing. The thought disgusted Akito. She glared murderously at Kaiser. "Don't call him a traitor!" She snapped at the brown-haired vampire.

Akito glared darkly at Kaiser, then looked at Devon. "I'm not lying. I'm telling the truth. I swear. I swear to God that I'm telling you the truth," she said to him. "I'd never want to go with him."
She wanted to make that clear before he even thought about believing Kaiser.

Akito simply nodded, and she looked about ready to kill Kaiser. She wasn't sure what was holding her back. Maybe it was because Devon wasn't attacking him.
