"That's not good. Mommy's mommy, my grandma, is mean... I talked to her a while ago. She was mean to me... and she didn't like Mommy, either..." Mary mumbled. "Sometimes I have dreams of Mom being a kid, and her mom's always mean. She had a nice Daddy though." She smiled slightly. She wondered why Ren hated Akito so much.

Adalina set her hand on the ground and looked over at the girl. She watched the girl curiously. She had an interesting power. Even if it caused her to lose sleep. "Yeah. I've met Ren, your grandma. She isn't nice." The walker stated still watching Mary with curious eyes. "And I've only heard of Akira. Who is Akito's father." She added.

"He kinda has hair like Daddy's... 'cept it's kinda silvery. And he told Mommy stories," Mary said simply. Her mother rarely spoke of Akira, but she knew from her 'dreams'. She shifted her position so she was sitting on her knees. She looked almost like a very tiny adult, sitting on her knees, her back straight as a rod.

Adalina almost smirked at the thought that a three year old seemed to have better manners then herself. Then she figured most kids would have better manners then coyotes. Since she acted like a coyote most of the time... "He was the head of house before Akito." She said thoughtfully.

((Pssst. Akira wasn't god. In fact, he was completely normal. No curse on him or anything. Hence being so happy when Ren gave birth to the long-awaited goddess. xD I think Akito being god might have been the only reason he loved her. One of the main reasons, anyway. xD *has been analyzing that for a while* LoL))

((Well, it's not like they ever stated whether he was cursed or not, but the coming of 'god' was like... prophecised. xDD Probably by Kaiser, of all people. =smirks=))
Mary nodded. "Mom says it's really hard. And really boring sometimes. I don't want that job," she said.

"Mmhm... Running such a big house, I would think it must be hard..." Adalina replied. She wondered who was running it while Akito was gone...

"Daddy's head of the house now," Mary said. "Mommy left a note on the back of divorce papers," she said. Yes, she, unfortunately, knew what divorce papers were.

Adalina glanced back at the girl. Her own parents had divorced. But they had basically hated each other. "My parents were divorced... I imagine it's probably worse for you though." She replied.

Mary shrugged. "Mommy's gonna come back. She said she'd try. She wrote that she didn't have a choice." She didn't exactly sound like a three-year-old anymore. With how mature she was acting, it was strange to hear it out of a three-year-old's mouth.

Adalina looked down and nodded slightly. It was disconcerting to be talking to a three year old that acted and sounded so mature. Oh so strange. "Children that are half vampires are quite mature for their young ages." She stated looking down still.

"You should see Renesmee!" Mary exclaimed suddenly. "She's five times better at reading than I am!"
Renesmee seemed to like reading boring poems that made little sense to Mary.

Adalina chuckled and smiled at the girl. "That's interesting. All I can do is turn into a coyote." She said smirking slightly. Well, along with the coyote thing she was immune to vampire venom and their powers. Plus she could see ghosts and speak to them, and was faster then normal coyotes.

Mary clapped her hands together. "That's cool!" She chirped. She looked around suddenly. Oh look! A bird! She whistled, and held out her hand the way Akito had showed her to. When the bird fluttered down to the ground and hopped a little closer, it seemed to realize somethin and flew away.
Mary stomped her foot, clenching her fists. "Da**it!" She cursed, then put a hand to her mouth. "Uh-oh.. I'm not supposed to say that. Heheh..." She laughed nervously. "Don't tell anyone, 'kay?" Then she resumed being irritated. "It's just... the birds love Mommy! They hate me!" As she shook her fists slightly, her beads almost fell off and she put a hand on them, making a face.

Adalina laughed. She had said worse. "That's alright." She tapped her fingers on the ground and smirked. "That's probably because you smell like a cat. They don't like me much either. So it's probably the whole cat and coyote thing." She added smirking slightly. The walker looked over at the birds and whistled softly. She had only recently learned how to do it right. The bird flew back down and Adalina stayed still for a moment not moving. It didn't take long for the bird to decide there was something strange about this human, and fly off.
"I bet the birds like the bird of the Zodiac a lot. Though there isn't a bird at the moment, is there?" She asked looking over at Mary.

Mary shook her head. "No birds," she said. "But Mommy says the birds like her as much as they like the bird of the Zodiac," she added, as if this was something amazing. Well, it was.
"I wish the birdies liked me. I wouldn't hurt 'em." She frowned and crossed her arms over her chest in anger. She'd definitely taken after her mother when it came to temper.

Adalina smiled slightly. "Yeah, but the cats like you. I like cats. They're soft." She noticed the girls temper; like Akito. "You're a lot like your mother." The walker stated lightly. She watched the girl for a moment longer then looked down again.

Mary smiled. "I'm told that by a lot of people. But I have Daddy's pretty hair." She grinned and ran her hands through the hair she'd inherited from her father. Aside from the hair, she had gotten all of Akito's looks. The angular features, the ocean eyes, the thin, delicate frame, the long eyelashes. Everything.
