((XD Kay. LoL.))
Kira lifted one thin eyebrow. "Really?" She grinned slightly. "He hasn't said anything, but he hardly ever talks about his feelings and such so it's hard to tell." She said.

Akito smiled a bit. "Mary goes on and on about some of the times when they play together," she told Kira. "I find some kids very lucky. Carefree... no worries. Sometimes I wish I could just rewind and live my life the way I wanted it to be. But we all wish that, don't we?" She looked into Kira's green eyes. The woman smelled good. But Akito went hunting a lot to make sure she didn't attack anybody. She didn't want to have to leave the Main House until she got used to humans.

Kira smiled and nodded. "Yeah. I would have done a million things different." She said. But then she thought about that. Maybe she would have never met Hatori if she did things differently. Maybe Shade wouldn't have been born. Dispite the fact Shade was exactly 'wanted' when the child had been born, Kira loved her.

Akito nodded slowly, thinking of what to say next. She remembered a time when she was younger. Only slightly. This was probably the one thing she hated about being a vampire. She couldn't remember things from her human life very well.
"When I was ten... You came to the Main House with Shigure and Ayame and Hatori," she murmured. "Sorry... for how I treated you that day..."
She meant how she'd regarded Kira so coldly, sneering at the woman's name because of what it meant.

"It's fine." Kira shrugged. "I've forgiven you." She told the woman. She actually looked Akito in the eyes now. Akito had the most intriguing eyes. Dark and deep and meaningful. Kira always thought that her bright green ones were shallow. But they also hid emotions well. But since they were so unusual, it was a way to recognise her so Kira wore brown colored contacts when she used to be in a gang and they would go on raids and such.

Akito breathed out a sigh. Relief, maybe? She gave Kira a grateful expression. "Thank you," she murmured. "You have no idea how much that means to me," she added.

"Everyone deserves to be forgiven." Kira said. "I'm sorry for making you angry back then." Kira told her.

Akito shook her head. "I was only jealous," she explained. "You didn't make me mad. I was just angry that they had spent time with you that one day instead of me." She sighed. Jealousy was really a horrible thing.

Kira shrugged. "Yeah, but it's over now." She said to Akito. "All in the past." She hugged her knees closer.

Akito nodded in agreement. She sighed, and looked upward. "I guess that's the good thing about the past. If you learn, you don't have to relive it, and it can just remain behind you." Tohru had said something similar to that, hadn't she?
((Want the head maid to show up now? XDD))

((Sure. XDD))
Kira nodded. "It's not good to hold onto your past. It will haunt you forever if you do that." She aggreed. After meeting Hatori, she had confessed her sins onto him and let go of everything that she had ever held onto.

Akito nodded. "Sometimes the past is all you have," she pointed out. That's how she'd felt at one point. The only good thing she had was her memories. The good ones, anyway. The ones of her childhood, when her father was alive. She had that to cling onto and her Juunishi.

Kira smirked slightly. "I didn't have the best past ever." Kira said. "I lived in the Ghetto and was involved with all sorts of bad things. I even had my own gang in Highschool." She said, half way to herself.
((Are you going to play Medusa? XD))

((Ah, right... =forgot=))
Akito frowned. "I've done bad things, but I've never even been to a ghetto," she mumbled. "Let alone live in one."
"Akito-san!" Called a slightly high-pitched voice, cracked with age.
Akito groaned. "I wish I could turn invisible..." she sighed. A moment later, the head maid, Suzume, was in view. "Akito-san!" She said again, when she saw the head of house. Akito used to be fond of the woman, back before she'd changed, but now that she was living better, the maid just got on her nerves. Akito called Suzume 'the Old Hag' behind her back.
"Yes, O-- Suzume?" She replied.
"Weren't you supposed to go to a meeting?"
"In three hours. Stop nagging me, I know when the meeting is," Akito snapped, putting two fingers to her right temple. It wasn't exactly a head ache... she couldn't get one. But she was about ready to lose her temper, and she needed to calm down.
The maid turned a fairly icy eye on Kira. But she wouldn't dare speak rudely to the woman. Not around Akito, anyway. "What are you two doing?"
"Speaking," Akito replied simply.
((Blah.))

Kira gave a sickly sweet smile. "Yes, Suzume-san. Akito-san and I were just engaging in a simple conversation, something most civilized humans do, instead of crawing out orders." Kira said innocently, as if she wasn't talking about Suzume. But her innocence would be aggriviating-as she had planned- because Kira was talking about Suzume but the maid couldn't say anything about it unless she wanted to sound like she was twisting Kira's words around.

Suzume's eyes narrowed, glaring. Akito smirked a bit, then changed the expression to a pleasant but almost mocking smile. She reminded herself not to be cruel. After all, it wasn't exactly the woman's fault she hadn't changed. The 'Old Hag' just didn't know how to change her own life, and turn it around. The servant thought she was too old to do that. Akito could see why, seeing as the woman was nearly seventy years old, and still faithfully serving the Sohmas.
As she thought of this, she stood up, and extended her hand just slightly. She'd done this to Suzume a few years ago, after changing.
"I'm still waiting, Suzume-san," she told the servant.
Suzume shook her head and sighed, turning to leave. Akito knew this may confuse Kira, but she didn't care right now. She walked over and stopped the maid.
"Wait. I suppose you can stay and talk with us."
"I still liked you better before, Akito-san," Suzume said, almost a little coldly. Akito looked sorrowful, but looked to Kira, seeing if the woman would mind if Suzume stayed. After all, what Akito said, goes, either way. If she made it an order that Suzume had to stay, she would. She just wanted to make sure Kira was all right with that.

Kira was confused, but just shrugged at Akito, saying that she didn't care. "People change, Suzume-san." Kira said.

Suzume sighed. "Fine, I'll stay," she muttered.
Akito smiled a bit and went back to sitting with Kira, she motioned for Suzume to do the same, then wondered if the elderly woman would need a chair.
Suzume came over and slowly lowered to her knees. Akito shifted to a similar position.
"Am I working you too hard?" Akito blurted. She'd just thought of it now. And usually, blurting something out suddenly helped. It had in the past... for Akito, anyway.
Suzume arched an eyebrow. She'd been a servant for a long time, much more than fifty years. There was no such thing as being worked too hard. Not to her, anyway. Before she could answer though, Akito added, "Because I was thinking about giving you and the other servants a break. Send you all on vacation for a week."
Suzume shook her head. "No, no. I'm not being worked too hard at all, Akito-san." She sounded almost disgusted by the concept.
((Meh. Wasn't sure what to say..))
