Drake left. He stayed in his cave, studying all the medical books he owned. First book, nothing. Second book, the same. Thrid book...."Hmm?" Drake found a page on the medicine he used. He read the section of the medicine. "Oh......that's bad, but thats for humans. For vampires...."
It has been a few hours since Drake left. Somewhere around 1 a.m, Drake came back. "Good news," he said, a bit of happiness in his voice.

Kyome had led Ayra back to the clearing and had laid her down on a blanket. They both looked up and greeted his arrival. "What is it?" Ayra groaned, still a very thirsty.

"Aw hell" Ayra murmured, collapsing her head down. "That sucks, and it means I can't work and I just have to save my energy while you do it all." She sighed. "Talk about feeling helpless."

"Just rest up, and you'll be fine. Ok?" Drake kissed Ayra lightly on her cheek. "Come on Kyome, we have work to do."

Kyome grinned and waggled her eyebrows to Drakes and Ayra, but followed Drake back to work for the night. Ayra smiled, but let her head lightly fall back onto the cushion Kyome had made for her of an extra blanket.

Ayra closed her eyes and just listened to the sound of Kyome and Drake working quietly until the morning when Kyome walked over to check on her. "How is it?" She asked. Ayra slowly opened her eyes. "I'm sore, and very thirsty." She said groggily. Her throat felt sandy on the inside.

The house was looking great. The supports for the walls were up. Now they had to make the supports for the roof. Drake looked over at Ayra, and she looked how he did after he used his attack. But this time, she only has to wait for tonight, then she can drink to her hearts content.

Ayra carefully propped herself on her elbows to look at the house. "You guys are doing a great job... I wish i could help" She said, looking mad at herself. "I hate it when i can't do anything but watch." She said under her breath, then collapsed again. "And when I am this thirsty, its hard not to do anything." She said, closing her eyes again

"Ugh." Ayra mumbled. "Okay, fine. But only because you asked so nicely Drake." She said sarcastically. She put her hands up over her eyes and rubbed her temples.

Drake knew that this must be really annoing for her. And he didn't want Ayra to be sad, but, he did all he can. She'd just have to wait. "Ok." He turned to look at Kyome," let's get the inner walls set up."

"Thanks." Kyome said, looking at Ayra. She had turned her head to look at her. "What is it?" Ayra asked Kyome. Kyome looked at her and smiled. "He isn't lying." She said. Ayra looked at her in confusion, so she kept talking. "He really does love you. No lying or him not knowing for sure." She said. Ayra looked at her with wide eyes. "I know that." She said.
Kyome looked at her. "Yeah, but I didn't, so I had to make sure." She had expected Ayra to start yelling at her, but she just closed her eyes and said "Okay, I get why you did it. Thank you." She said. Kyome sighed in relief. "I need to rest, kyome." Ayra said.
Kyome nodded, getting up. "Okay. I'll check on you at dusk." She said, going to join Drake again. She looked at him, saying "Ayra is the most understanding person I know." Then without any more explanation, she go to work on the walls.

Kyome helped lift boards and nail them in until they had put up all of the walls in the house. All that was left for it was the insulation and plastering... Then the floor needed to be put all the way in.

"I'll get started on the floor. You do the insulation." Drake went over to the wood pile, which was starting to get low. "Actually, I'll chop up more boards." Drake picked up the same axe he used yesterday, and went into the forest again.

Kyome picked up the insulators she had stashed by the generator she had already installed. She started gluing them into place in the walls and in the floor and then started plastering the walls to make them actual walls and not just wooden boards.
