Along the Way

Azriel was out in the woods, just taking a walk. Thinking. Things were better now. Jade was calling her family regularly and visiting often. He paused as he caught a familiar scent. No way... Not them.

The vampire kept going then ran. The wind whipping around him. He liked to run though. Then he stopped and turned to look out at the forest. There they were. He could smell them still now. Why were they here?! The vampire wanted them gone. He had left for a reason. And here they were, tracking him down. Or... Maybe he was just being paranoid... Yes. Paranoid. That's it.

But he still had that strange feeling, something was wrong. Sighing, he started back toward the house.

((Bleh... Can Aro and Jane just catch up with him? XP))
