Akito entered the house without knocking. She was greeted almost immediately by Alice, who embraced her and kissed one of her cheeks. Akito had hugged back awkwardly, still not always used to Alice's... strange greetings.
"Ah, Rhea-chan is here?" She asked hopefully.
Alice nodded cheerily. "Yeah. She's up in her room, with Kirucu," she replied.
Akito nodded. "All right. Thanks." She headed up the stairs, looking for her sister-in-law. Okay, fine, Rhea wasn't her sister-in-law any longer, but whatever. She got to Rhea's room, and this time knocked, though Rhea would know she was here by now. She opened the door before Rhea could actually answer.
"...Hi..." she said simply, not sure what else to say to Rhea... and Kirucu. She'd heard the girl was leaving Japan for a while, so she wanted to spend a little time with her before she left. Though, Akito was also determined to figure out where Rhea was going, because then she could just go see the girl whenever she wanted.

"... Hi." Rhea said back, looking up at the older girl. Her long brown hair was braided and tossed over one shoulder. She was gently playing with the ends of the braid. She sat on her couch, looking up at Akito.

Akito looked over at her cousin, Kirucu and gave him a little smile. She knew he'd been blind in his human life, and wondered for a moment if he could see her. She didn't know about his power, since she didn't have a lot of encounters with him even now.
"I was wondering if I could talk with you, just for a little, Rhea-chan," Akito said. She kind of wanted to do it privately, just because she wasn't sure if she'd end up embarrassing herself worse than she already was, but also didn't mind if Kirucu didn't want to leave.

Kirucu's eyes flickered over to Akito for a moment. Though he couldn't really see her very well. The boy wondered vaguely what in the world would Akito want to speak to Rhea about. Kaiser? Bleh, that dirty b*****d? Now the way she said it was like she wanted to do it privately... Had Akito forgotten they were in a house of vampires that could hear everything anyway?
"Hello, Akito-san." He said. The boy would wait and see if she asked him to leave first.

"Drop the -san," Akito told him lightly. "We're family, after all. You don't have to be that reverent."
She did want to ask him to leave, but didn't want to be rude to him.

"Whatever you say." Kirucu replied.
"You know, if you want to speak to Rhea alone, that's fine. But you are in a house full of vampires, with superior hearing." He stated tapping an ear with a slight smirk.

Akito would have blushed. She should have remembered that. She grimaced, and even caught a light laugh from Alice.
"Err... right. I guess I don't really mind talking to Rhea with you in here. Maybe I'd feel more comfortable alone in the room with her..." She looked at Rhea, to see if the girl would care if Kirucu left.

Rhea looked over at Kirucu, then up at Akito. She felt like saying, 'Why should Kirucu leave?' but refrained
"Sure, but as he stated, he can still hear us." Rhea said to Akito. The girl wasn't as... carefree as she had appeared to be before the incident. That was a sure sign something was wrong.

Kirucu shrugged and stood up to leave. He glanced at Rhea before leaving the room.

Akito sat down.
"I don't know why I wanted him to leave. I guess I'm afraid I might get all emotional or something and dont' want to do that in front of one of my couisins." She shrugged. Sometimes not even she could fathom her own emotions. "Eh... It's just, maybe I also wanted to spend some quality time with you or something. I... uh... heard you're leaving. So I guess I wanted to say goodbye." She shrugged again. Despite the fact Rhea looked younger, Akito felt like Rhea were the older of them... well, technically she was. Akito also considered Rhea as a sister. Even though she wasn't married to Devon anymore--oh, it hurt so bad to think about that--she still felt like Rhea was her sister-in-law. It was nice to have a sibbling of sorts like that...

"Thanks." Rhea said. "I just really can't take Japan any more... heh... Kirucu and I are going to get passports and leave the country. Travel the world or something along those lines..." She said with a grin.
"I'm glad you came. Means a ton."

Akito smiled. She knew that something must have happened, and she immediately thought Kaiser may have something to do about it. Maybe she'd ask Devon later. Surely he'd know. And she wasn't likely going to ask Rhea about it.
"I'm willing to give you any money necessary," Akito said immediately. "Promise you'll write?" She added.
"And it's not a problem. I still see you as a sister after all," she admitted.

Akito wrapped an arm around Rhea's shoulders a little awkwardly. She gave the older vampire a gentle squeeze of the shoulder.
Oh, whatever, the curiosity was killing her.
"Something happened," she said quietly. "To you. It has to do with Kaiser, doesn't it?" She spat out the b*****d's name like it was a curse.

Akito frowned. "He didn't?" She asked. That made even her a little mad. Then realization hit her, and for some reason she blamed herself.
"Oh, G*d, I'd bet it's when I asked him if he'd spend some time with me," she said, looking almost terrified. She felt it was her fault, now.

Akito nodded. "Thank you... but... Ah, da**it!" She cursed. She wondered what Kaiser did to you, but was hesitant about asking. She still had an arm wrapped around Rhea's shoulders.
"Now I'm a little mad at Devon," she mumbled. But she at least sounded calm.
