Drake could sence that there wasn't much time. The hole he made was too far. He wouldn't make it in time. Even if he ran full speed. He decided to make another hole to the outside. He turned to the wall and slammed his fist against it. Sea water rushed in the tunnel, but Drake wasn't phased by it. He swam through the water, though was slowed by the fact he was carrying Ayra. But that didn't matter to him. All that mattered was to get Ayra to a safe place, and to get as far away was possible from Darkclaw's lair. A few minutes passed, and Drake has reached the coast. He gently set Ayra down. He looked at her wound. He knew that she would not survive. He let out a sad cry, then knelt beside Ayra, gently brushing the hair from her face.

Ayra smiled lovingly at Drake, not making any move to speak. She couldn't anymore. She was too weak. Ayra sobbed wordlessly, only grieving because she knew how sad Drake was. She wanted to stay, but like a child being pulled from a playground, it was time to go, no matter if she left her friends behind.

Drake hummed that one song one last time. He wanted Ayra to hear it before she left. He wanted her to die with a smile before she goes.

Ayra smiled, closing her eyes, listening to the song and fell still. Her body glowed, the elements she had controlled circling around her, then going out in veins across the beach, making the sand shimmer in the night. Everything went dim except for Ayras body that stayed glowing.
Kyome was waiting around for her two lover birds to get home when she felt something go wrong. She went to go sit on the couch, keeping her thoughts on Ayra. When she died, Kyome jumped up and screamed in emotion.
"NO!" Kyome sobbed, doubling over and pulling at her hair. "SHE CAN'T BE DEAD!" Kyome shook her head, trying to get her thoughts straight. A wave of pure hatred went over her. He killed her. He killed Both of them!" Kyome screamed again, running out her door. She needed to find them. She needed to pay her respects, to bless her sister. And to kill Drake.

Drake let out another cry when Ayra's body glowed. Her power over the elements was leaving her. She has died. He gently kissed Ayra's forehead. He then began to dig a hole for her, to give her a proper burial.

"Wait." Kyomes voice coldly floated out of the trees and across the beach. She walked slowly out, for the moment her anger dispersed into grief. She knelt at Ayras side, pulling a flask of ashes and sprinkled them out across Ayras wounds. She rearranged the clothing and shield to make it so only Ayras scars showed in glory. Kyome said a blessing in greek, then italian, both of the girls native tongues. "Goodbye sister Ayra" Kyome whispered, breaking so rigid sobs after she was finished.

Drake let Kyome do what she wanted, then picked up Ayra's lifeless body to the grave. After reciting a anicent blessing, he covered the grave. "Kyome, can you do something for me?"

Kyomes eyes went wide. She was taken back by the question. Kyome shook her head. "You. Are. An. idiot." She growled choppily.

"Kyome please. Do you think I can live a life after watching her die? After knowing that I should of made her stay but didn't? After knowing that she would still be alive if it wasn't for me? I don't want to live anymore if it means that she isn't at my side, to live happily togather. Please. Kill me." Drake fell to his knees. He was doing some he has never done before. He was begging. "Please. Kill me."

Kyome screamed and slapped Drake across the face. "Do you think she WANTS you to die to?" She screeched. "Do you think she cares that she died for you? Shes PROUD! you could see it all over her face even in death." Kyome resisted the urge to slap him again. "You made her happier than any other time i had ever seen her. She glowed when she was with you! Ayra loved you, and she KNEW what was going to happen to her." Kyomes voice got lower. "I will never kill you just because of how you feel." She smirked coldly down at him, sobbing tearlessly. "Oh, I'm going to kill you, but because of my promise."She said darkly. "You didn't protect her. You had her die. You broke your part of the promise, so i am going to keep mine."

"Dont worry." Kyome said. She walked behind Drake and put her hand o her side, pulling out her two daggers from their sheaths. "I'll give you a proper ceremony like Ayras. You are her feonce after all."

Kyome shook her head, grasping a dagger in both hands. She knelt behind Drake, closing her eyes and praying. "No, your never ready to die." She said. Swiftly, she dug both daggers into Drake, one into the back of his heart and one into the back of his head in a ceremonious fashion. Kyome stood up, taking the daggers out and kept her eyes closed, praying repeatedly.

Kyome helped Drake onto his back, in a way of respect. "I would have liked you as my brother." Kyome murmured sadly. "Tell Ayra and Dameon i love them." She said, bowing her head and continuing to pray ancient words in various languages.

Kyome nodded a thanks, watching him. "And there goes the life of two great warriors." She murmured. Kyome sobbed once more and started working on a grave for Drake, right next to Ayras.
