"Well... since your not going to trust me, I haven't tried too, and your sister is here. And Kiyoshi is coming over as well..." Emeric mumbled glancing down at the floor. He looked back up at her. "But I'm not going to." The Fae added. Nearly added that he would never, but she wouldn't believe him so it didn't matter. He wonder slightly what exactly had been done to her, to cause her trust him to completely disappear.

"If you say that you didn't hurt me, then who did?" Takara demanded, but atleast she was being more opened minded then her sister was at the moment. ((Ugh. I am SOOOO SORRRY. ::is shot:

((S'kay. XD))
Emeric did not allow himself much hope. But a bit was nice. At least she wasn't completely banishing the thought that maybe he had not harmed her. "Another Fae. Takara, I wouldn't hurt you. I'd rather take my own life then harm you." He told her. "Do you really think I would after years?" He asked softly. Watching her, wondering if he was helping or making things worse. Though he was just waiting for Kira to snap something at him. Making up was hard when you had done nothing, which was really the problem wasn't it? He hadn't been able to do anything to help her, save her. So was it his fault in a way?
Course it was not, but that would not stop him from trying to blame himself. After all, wasn't one supposed to protect the one they loved? Though one is not perfect.

"How come he looked like you?" Takara challenged, backing up as far as the wall behind her would allow, her back pressed firmly against it. Though it did make sense to her, why would Emeric want to hurt her? He had always been gentle, treating her like a fragile china doll and she never minded in the least.

Emeric lowered his eyes, hiding his own insecurity which showed in them. "I figure he changed to look like me." He replied, glancing back up. Though he wanted to move closer, he did not. After all, it made more sense to stay put. Or maybe back up as well. "And have I ever harmed you before? Or lied to you for that matter? Why would I do so now? All of a sudden." He asked, rather cautiously.

Takara thought about that for a moment before shaking her head. "N-no..." She mumbled out, looking down like an ashamed child.
Kira watched, spinning the barrel of the revolver with nervous but stead hands, one wrong movement and BAM.

Emeric stepped forward slightly, rather cautious. "So why would I now, or then?" He asked again. Stopping and just standing there, watching, pretty much holding his breath. Waiting for an answer. "I love you Takara... so if you want me to leave I will, and..." He paused. If he said 'I won't come back' there would be no taking it back. Though as long as he didn't mention how long, he might be able to take it back... "I won't come back if you don't want me here." He added, glancing back at her after staring at the floor.

Takara was silent for a very long time. "I want you to stay." She said finally, the voice soft in the quiet room.
Kira closed her eyes in almost a sort of relief and set down the gun. If her older sister said it was okay... then it was okay.

Emeric rather subconsciously realized Kira put the gun down. He relaxed a bit and let out his breath. Taking another step forward then stopping. "Thank you..." He said softly. Wondering if it would be okay to go closer, if he could hug her. But he decided to just stop and wait. Maybe she would make a move. And if not then he'd just stay where he was.

The door opened again.
This time, when a man stepped in, Kira knew that the situation would probaly go bad. Kiyoshi nearly tripped over himself in surprise. He let out a feral growl and glared darkly at Emeric. "What the hell are you doing here?" He demanded, wishing that at this point he has some sort of weapon, even though it was unlikely that he could use it to it's full extent since he was a cripple.
"It's fine, Kiyoshi, relax." Takara told her son softly, stepping over to him to place a hand on his tnse shoulder.

Emeric glanced down. Then back up at Kiyoshi. "I came to talk to Takara. She said I could stay." He replied. Wishing that everyone wasn't treating him like a criminal. Still glad that Takara had allowed him to stay though, apparently trusting him for now. Though he didn't add that he had not hurt Takara, feeling it didn't fit just now.

Kiyoshi lifted and eyebrow but didn't say anything. "She might trust you, but I'm still not sure." Kiyoshi reminded him. Takara gave her son a dissaproving glance, which he seemed to shy away from.

After a while of rather uncomfortable, tense, air, Kiyoshi and Kira had left, Emeric was glad they trusted him enough to do so. Though he didn't doubt they would probably be checking back soon, whether a phone call or personal visit. He was wary, leaning against the wall, trying to be careful and not cause Takara aggravation or fear. The fae just didn't want to see her look at him like she had ever again. Or have to yell at him, and throw things at him, for fear of him. He watched as the door closed, looking over at her as well.
He swallowed, feeling odd being close to her after the time spent away from her. But, God, he had missed her. So much. "Takara?" He started softly. Then paused, unsure where to go next. What could he really say? He didn't know, he was lost for words. Completely and utterly. So he glanced down and then back up at her again. "You do believe me, right?" He asked. As if to double check. Making sure he hadn't just heard things or something. Mistaken. Or maybe now she would turn around and change her mind, or just tell him to flat out leave.
No, she wasn't like that. She wouldn't do that. But there was still the possibility he had misunderstood. Possibly. He hoped so much that he had not though. The fae wondered if she realized how much he wanted her to accept him, take him back in another way to say. Though he hadn't done anything, he felt he had failed. So he felt guilty, he hadn't been able to help her. Keep her from being hurt...

Takara was silent for a moment, she had been standing infront of her vanity mirror, running a brush through her hair when Emeric came in and asked her the question. She brushed the same section of hair three more times before putting down the brushed and turning around so that she could face him. "... I believe you." The middle aged woman said to him. "I'm sorry that I even doubted you."

Emeric met her eyes as she said this, and he smiled. It had been a while since he'd done so. Though he was still being careful, staying where he was. It was oddly hard to resist going over and hugging her. Though he also did not want to ask, it seemed like a silly thing to do somehow. Shouldn't someone just KNOW the right moment? "It is not a problem. You had plenty reasons to doubt me." He replied, still looking at her with soft blue eyes. Then he took a few steps forward to stand in front of her. Looking down. "I love you." He stated, softly.
